Doesnt seem very accurate, in my living room nothing on 65db? I am done with this one.

Too inaccurate to be worth installing. A quiet room should be about 30-40, but was twice that.

Side by side with calibrated db meter this reads constantly 10-15 db higher. If you need a reference, I suppose its ok, but remember to subtract at least 10db from reading.

Looks good but is totally worthless. When sitting next to a calibrated meter this app reads between 15 to 20 dbs too high. Very inaccurate. Wont spend anything for the "pro" version.

If all you want is to check consistent level for changes then ok. Otherwise it says 110db ( fire truck) talking into it.

Just downloaded this app for the hell of it, wanting to see how it worked and it stayed at 60 with no noise AT ALL. I was disappointed to say the least, especially because also, it only went up to exactly 110. All in all, it wasnt accurate and has no real use, I deleted it within less then 5 minutes, dont waste your time with this garbage!

The peak and average values reported arent accurate. The app needs a calibration capability

I downloaded this app while wasting time at an airport. I didnt expect much but I did expect it to work a little. Granted, I was in a noisy place and it did show noise. However, I found a relatively quiet spot and tried a little experiment. I took my Bose sound deadening headphones and cupped/sealed them over the mic of my iPhone5 while still looking at the meter. The reading was still 50-60db! Dont waste your time with this app, even when you have time to waste. Do something productive, like watching the planes take off and land.

I do not believe that the readings are accurate. Silent room is 60db? But easy to use.

Like the other reviews, a closed room with carpet and no noise source is not 60 db. Well, I suppose the sound of me deleting it is a noise source. Thankfully it is free.

Either this app doesnt work, or it is too sensitive.

I put my phone in a sound reducing box and the meter was reading 47-52 db. I was like this cant be right and sure enough it wasnt when I checked it with my other DB meters.

Simple app, keep in mind its only as good as the hardware you are using it on.

This is worse than useless!

Accuracy is not something they worried about with this app. Dont waste your time with this one.

Horrible app! deserves half star just cause software works just enough.
