It never worked. Deleted it right away. Scam to force users to upgrade. Sleazeball app!

Nice tool for free.

Readings will fluctuate so if you want to know for example how "loud" a new air conditioner is you need to be satisfied with the needle bouncing between say 75 to 80 db and the ambient Amy be 55 db. This was all I needed.

nothing on in the house it reads 57 db. what a joke. went outside and started the car. stock Ford Explorer. said it was 110db inside.

In an office, talking quietly, my voice registers over 90db. This app is garbage.

I suggest looking into some other apps for dB metering. I found some good ones that had no reviews and werent as popular due to probably their download count. Some of these top dog apps are just trash.

Meter is not clear enough for evaluating current situation but still is in the ballpark.

Not worth free

App works great. Pretty accurate.

Has dB with shading for how loud. Green for low dB to yellow to orange to red for very loud. Has graphic strip chart and start / stop for sampling.

its apiece of crap never works

I just had this and two other app decibel meters measuring noise at a construction site by my house. We had them side by side with two different state (FL) certified meters. These two were within 2 dB of each other. This app on the other hand, was off (always way above) 22-50 dB at all sites we tested. With such an error this meter is completely useless. It is not useful at all. The meter is never below 55 and hits 80-90 range all the time. When it was 84 dB this meter was between 97-110. It is completely useless. You can not use it for anything at all. Do not even try - it is so off. Very disappointing.
